We are seeking experienced actors of all genders, age and race. Independent film director, Dan Judd, seeks individuals who would like to participate in an action/thriller short film. This is a NON EQUITY, volunteer film that promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Auditions will be held on October 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and again on
October 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Auditions will be at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Lansing Rd., near Eastwood Towne Center. Please anticipate reading for several roles.
Bring a headshot and resume if you have them. For those who do not, be prepared to document your experience and be photographed for the director’s convenience at the start of auditions.

Camptown Cannibal - Male, late 30’s to early 50’s. An internet serial killer, he hosts his own cannibal cooking show on “face tube.” Disturbing, yet has some finesse.
BB - Male or female, mid 30’s to early 40’s. The owner of several rental properties, who often deals with the low-life of a broken down city. Hard edged, cynical.
RR - Male or female, late 20‘s to mid 30‘s. Employed by BB, often does maintenance work on the rental properties. Is comfortable throwing down when a squatter gets cocky, but generally an average joe.
TT - Male or female, late 20’s to mid 30’s. Also works for BB doing maintenance. Can hold his/her own, with the rest.
Hart - Male, any age. Down and out tenant who often works off his rent. Easily influenced, and often a screw-up.
Eve (or Evan) - Male or female, any age. Reporter for the local news. Pushy, professional, if a little inexperienced.
Bone - Male, any age. A local drug dealer, has several connections and is a general thorn in the side of BB.
Mazin - Male, any age. A local drug dealer who works under Bone. Has an orange suit and an attitude to match.
Tempest - Female, mid 20’s. A call girl by trade, she often does “odd jobs” for Bone.
Glitter - Female, early 20’s. Tempest's assistant, she often gets the dirty work that Tempest doesn’t want.
Note that the BB, RR and TT characters will be named after casting.
Supporting Cast
It is nearly impossible to have too much help. Rest assured if you read through the script and think "I could do that," we probably would like you to. Currently our plan for most of the sets and props runs to the minimalist side to avoid overworking our base crew. Do you have a vision for the Red Room or Bone's lair? Can you make a convincing nail through foot gag or a camera friendly, actor safe baseball bat?
